The family of Lawrence Bartell Henson will receive visitors at St. Matthias the Apostle Church on Friday, December 18th, from 11 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m.
Irene Chisholm, a member of our parish, passed away earlier this week. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Matthias the Apostle Church on Saturday, December 12th, at 11:oo am. Our condolences to her family.

Lourdes Alexander, long-time parishioner and community activist and volunteer, died November 15, 2015. The funeral was held at St. Matthias the Apostle Church Friday, November 20th, with burial at Fort Lincoln Cemetery. May she rest in peace.
Today we learned that Teresa Hahne, long time member of St. Matthias Church, passed away last night. There will be a viewing at Advent Funeral Home in Lanham, MD, on Sunday, November 29th, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated November 30th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Matthias the Apostle Church. Burial will follow at the Veterans Cemetary, Cheltenham, MD. May she rest in peace.
The CBN of Prince George’s County will hold its monthly business meeting breakfast on Friday, November 20th at the Country Club of Woodmore, 12320 Pleasant Prospect, Mitchellville, MD, from 7:30-9:00 a.m. Mr. Bill Ryan, School Superintendent for the Archdiocese of Washington, will be the guest speaker. Jack O’Leary, husband of our parish accountant, Leslie Long O’Leary, died Saturday, October 24th. A memorial Mass will be offered at St. Matthias on Saturday, October 31st at 10:00 am. Please keep the family in your prayers.
