The World Apostolate of Fatima-Archdiocese of Washington Division invites you to participate in a Rosary and Mass celebrated by Msgr. Balbago in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel in the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in honor of Our Lady of Fatima’s apparition to the children, Friday, September 13th, at 1:00 PM, 400 Michigan Ave, NE Washington, DC.

Father Jack Kennealy, pastor, and Father Canice Enyiaka, resident at St. Matthias Parish, joined a group of parish & school volunteers and members of the Knights of Columbus to staff a concession stand at the stadium for a recent soccer game.  For information about volunteering, contact Thad Ereme at 301-459-4814 x 207.

A funeral service for Charles O’Banion, a 1998 graduate of St. Matthias School, will be held at St. Matthias the Apostle Church (9475 Annapolis Rd., Lanham, MD  20706) on Saturday, May 18th.  Visitation with the family will begin at 12:30 PM and a funeral service will follow at 1:30 PM.
