Reverend Jack Kennealy
Father Jack, as he is known in the parish, comes from being pastor at St. Nicholas since 2011. He is a “local boy,” having been born in DC and growing up in Takoma Park. He holds bachelor’s and MBA degrees, as well as a Master of Divinity. Prior to his ordination as a priest in 2004, he worked as a corporate accountant. Father continues to serve in his capacity as Dean of the Northern Prince Georges County Deanery. He started officially at Saint Matthias the Apostle on July 12, 2017.
Father Jack will be installed as the 8th Pastor of Saint Matthias the Apostle Church by Cardinal Donald Wuerl on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at the 6PM Mass.
